Do Charcoal Grills Need Accessories?

Sounds kind of silly, doesn't it? Accessorize your mundane grill. Well, grilling accesssories are not about fashion.

All of us probably have a set of barbeque tools. They often include a long handled spatula, knife, tongs, and fork. That should just about cover it, right? Is your grill exposed the the elements? If so, you're going to need a grill cover unless you plan to move it into the garage every time it rains.

That's just the beginning. Aside from the tools, you might want to consider some barbeque mitts. Using old rags to protect your hands is so last season. Get yourself an OVE Glove. You can stick your hand right in the fire. No, not really, but they are pretty handy.

If you want to tweak your grill a little more, rotisserie attachments are easy to install. There are racks to grill ribs,fish, and vegetables. And let's not forget beer can chicken. Did you ever try to get the beer can out of the blazing hot chicken when it's done? Not easy. They make a handy rack to roast your chicken on.

You budding Bobby Flays will want some cedar grilling planks for your fish and meat. Poor fire starters like me could use a chimney device to make lighting your charcoal a breeze. While we're on lighting the fire, you won't need to throw lighter fluid on the coals any more. We can now buy, easy light charcoal. We don't have to rely on matches, we have charcoal lighters.

Want to cook some sauce on the side? Extra burners are available. No more running from the house to the grill. One thing that is handy is the gauge that tells you when you are about to run out of propane. There is nothing worse than having a grill full of half cooked food and finding that you are out of fuel.

You can buy flat griddles, skewers, and even pizza pans for the grill. Who needs a kitchen? GEt yourself some fancy charcoal grill accessories and you can cook outside all summer and beyond.
